  • Mèttola è, ad oggi, l’unica azienda piemontese che vinifica la Nascetta ‘in orange’ (da cui il nome del vino). Questa pratica prevede il contatto delle bucce delle uve a bacca bianca con il mosto per estrarre quanti più antocianine possibili, delle molecole con una funzione antiossidante e antiaging universalmente riconosciuta. Pur partendo dalle medesime uve, Mrs. Orange è un Langhe Doc Nascetta molto diverso e distante dalle Nascette vinificate in “bianco”.
  • Vinificazione: La fermentazione avviene a contatto con le bucce e vinaccioli per oltre 2 settimane per estrarre i polifenoli che conferiscono il tipico colore arancio.
  • Colore: Aranciato, quasi ramato, ed un tono di brillantezza un po’ opalescente. Profumo: Al naso fiori di acacia, mela, pompelmo, frutti tropicali e di miele. Gusto: In bocca è molto strutturato, molto minerale, di colore maturo, da invecchiamento, leggermente amarognolo e di buona sapidità; il retrogusto ha delle piacevoli note agrumate. Deve ossigenarsi e respirare per dare il meglio di sè.
  • Abbinamenti: Pesce, pesce crudo, formaggi freschi, crostacei, carne di maiale, pollo, tacchino, formaggi o aperitivi.
