Para discos M.2 de sólo de tipo PCIe, M o B + tecla M El adaptador permite montar el M2 de SSD en lugar y poner el SSD de origen en un MAC usando un SSD PCie en perno 12 + 16 (productos Macbook después de 2013).
Los Macs desde el 2013, 2014, 2015 no son compatibles con el SSD NVMepor lo que se debe utilizar un tipo SSD AHCI con este adaptador. Ejemplo de SSD compatible: Samsung XP941 (MZHPU128HCGM MZHPU256HCGL MZHPU512HCGL), Samsung SM951 PCIE-AHCI (MZHPV128HDGM MZHPV256HDGL MZHPV512HDGL)...
